The Mountain 600 Evo combines the heritage styling of the Mountain 600, one of Danner's best-loved hiking boots, with trusted, premium components to create a boot with the stability and support you need for long-distance backpacking. A waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX liner keeps feet dry on long, rainy days on the trail. A TPU shank distributes weight evenly underfoot and provides stability over rugged terrain while allowing your foot to feel the benefits of the Vibram SPE midsole's rebound and cushioning.

Vibram® SPE Midsole This rubberized EVA midsole maintains the same cushioning properties as traditional EVA, but is more durable and won’t break down as easily. This technology enhances rebound, comfort and support. Vibram® Fuga Traction Outsole With its self-adapting lugs and specially formulated Megagrip compound, this outsole provides incredible grip on both wet and dry surfaces. Vibram® Traction Lug technology increases the outsole's surface area for greater traction. Recraftable These boots are built to explore, and we aim to keep them doing just that. That’s why we designed them to be recraftable — because after years of adventure and countless miles, even a well-built boot will likely need resoling or reconditioning.
